What are the total sales of 3DS to Vita in Japan? I know the 3DS had a headstart but the amount it is outselling it is rather alarming.

Neither companies have released total sales figures for the end of year totals yet but loosely speaking its something like:

Japanese sales
Nintendo 3DS - 5/6 million
Playstation Vita - 600,000

I agree, it is pretty alarming. I really like my Vita (had it since JP launch), but there are just no games for it right now. It amazes me how popular the PSP is in Japan, and how much software is released for it - really took off there in a way that it didn't anywhere else I think. I read Siliconera for import stuff and there are PSP games just coming seeming the whole time, and nothing for Vita

June is the month. So much Vita stuff seems to be set for a June release.

Macquarie Equities believes Modern Warfare 3's sales to be 4.2% lower than like-for-like sales for Black Ops. However, there are no figures to see if it's true. It's possible however due to the heightened competition from Battlefield 3 this year. The truth should be known if eventual confirmed figures are down or if the upcoming Black Ops 2 also see's a downturn.

This year so far the Playstation 3 is the biggest selling hardware in Europe.... according to Nintendo

Nintendo estimates PS3 sales of 50,000 per week and 200,000 at launch for Vita before a quick decline.
