Cue publishers foolishly believing that ALL games can and should sell that many copies.

Isn't that the gross mistake of capitalism in general, that the world can and should sustain indefinite fiscal growth?

True. Good thing the future is fully digital! Now we don't run out of plastic to print game discs and cases and games can finally sell 1 billion copies each!

Apparently in the UK PS4 is outselling XBO 1.5 to 1. If true its quite an achievement for Sony as the UK is usually quite Xbox favourable

The PS4's total sales so far stand at 5.3m. This means its beaten its own sales projections with six weeks left to go.

Donkey Kong Country 5 did WiiU fairly proud and entered the uk multiplatform charts in 9th which cosidering the format isn't bad. Rambo snuck in at 21st whilst Lego Movie held onto first.

A few games struggled this week in the UK chart such as Senran Kagura way down at 38th but Thief wasn't one of them, entering in first and doing better than the last game.

Sony has confirmed that PS4 has topped 6m units following the Japanese launch, that puts them 1m above projections for the financial year with weeks still to go. Killzone has sold over 2m units so far.

Seems the Vita is having a mini resurgance thanks to soul sacrifice & im pleased to see youkai watch is soaring up through the charts beating everything in it's path hehe, level 5 must be pleased.

Titanfall led a 96% increase in XBO hardware sales in the UK and took number one.

Dark Souls 2 did well also taking second with higher opening sales than the last game did.

96% increase doesn't really tell anything without any numbers of how many units are normally sold.

As somebody else where said if it 96% of 100 then 196 have been sold, not so great, but if it was 96% of 1000 then better, and 96% of 10000 amazing but as Guts said without the numbers its just percentages of something, but i guess MS want anything positive for the XBone.

Well, if Titanfall was the reason for purchase, sales would drop off the month before release.
