Anticipation: November 2011 - Part 1

November typically represents a real peak for the number of major releases that are sent out for the gaming masses to try and cram into their spare time and this year is no different. As part of a drive to evolve these threads over the coming months this month will see the typical vote split into three threads. As usual we'll have the latest releases spread over two threads with Part 1 today and Part 2 arriving tomorrow. New this month will be the Imports thread with a selection of the key import titles due out in the same period.

So, once more, which of the above games are you most anticipating?

Skipping the shooterfest for now and settling in for Uncharted, Skyrim and Ass Creed out of this lot.

Halo and Saints Row 3 for me, I'm rather excited about Saints Row 3. It looks like a sandbox riot, can't wait to shoot myself out of a cannon attached to a van. All the trailers shown have got me hyped.

If I was to get any of them it'd be Skyrim, but I'll probably just wait for the GOTY edition.

Uncharted and AC for me, though I'll wait for the PC version of AC so that may not even be in November.

Nitpicking, but it's Elder Scrolls.

I'm picking up The Lord of the Rings: War in the North.

Also, Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Uncharted definitely later, I just finished Uncharted 1 & 2.

It's a straight 10 out of 10 for me for the lot. I really enjoyed Goldeneye on the Wii so I'm up for a spruced up replay though might wait till it drops. Sonic Generations is a definite too and with the 3DS version being a seperate game it gains worth. COD is something I'm not hyped for but i know I'll get a lot of play out of, Skyrim is also a cert though beyond the fancy visuals they don't seem to have added anything of worth more simplified it further from Oblivion which if true it definately won't be GOTY contender worthy. Assassins is a definite, there's been a scary level of improvement for the annual series so I've less doubts going into this one. Halo is something I'll pick up but is the least worthwhile title on the list, The Run was surprisingly fun in the demo though I suspect short lived. Saints Row games for me have been something I've wanted to like more than I have done up till now but the new one looks fun. Uncharted... nuff said

I'm only buying one game in November and it's gonna be Skyrim. Not that I don't want loads others! But Skyrim wins hands down.

November is pretty much going to be a battle between Skyrim & Ninokuni for my free gaming time. Also onepiece gigant battle 2 out as well.

Out of that lot? Probably Skyrim. Isn't Skyward Sword due out in November though? It's the first Zelda since Wind Waker I've actually been interested in, might even be a day one purchase!
