I can remember when this company started as a stall in the Grainger Market, good to see how far they've come since then.

Yeah, been reading about that from a few places. Seems like they couldn't have misunderstood the event much more than they did, really.

Still, it's not going to affect them. They were growing with bugger all publicity from the media anyway and all they have to do is undercut amazon by 50p on a new release and gamers will be clambering over each other for a piece of it, fickle as we are.

Secondly, they're the only high street chain which sells imports at very reasonable prices (no stupid premiums that indies tack on) - that in itself will continue to pay off quite well for them.

Yeah, they have the knack of selling some US games in advance of the PAL release for pretty much rrp and are pretty cheap for most stuff second hand. People generally couldn't care less who does what at games awards (especially one people weren't paying attention to anyway). This'll either make no difference or increase business for them

Thing is while it will offend some there'll be others who like the behaviour. Personally I couldn't care either way as I think awards ceremonies are utterly pointless wastes of everyone's time.

There seems to be a lot of support for granger games why don't we invite them to paint the site Orange, put condom adverts everywhere, and give someone from there head office admin rights to edit and comment and take the piss out of whoever they feel like.

The bottom line is they really have shown themselves up to be a bunch of complete pissed tossers with no regard for anyone around them in most other places with lots of alcohol this behaviour is quite normal, they just picked the wrong venue to behave like this.

Also completely of topic but there website looks like someones been on weekend webdesign courses and spent 2 days building it fuled by drinking nothing but tango.
