Lead developer interview about the game and especially about the combat:

Obsidian explains the tone of the RPG and what South Park: The Game has learned from Paper Mario and Final Fantasy 7.

It's great to know that Matt & Trey are actual hardcore gamers who've played games like Paper Mario, Zelda and Deus Ex for example.

Oh, and the fifth class is "Jew" (aka. Paladin).

Ha South Park. I've actually never seen this show. When I was about 8 or 9 I saw my mum and my older sister having a massive argument about how vile this show was and it scarred me for life. Looks cute Game sounds interesting though

The game's called South Park: The Stick of Truth and it'll be out on March 5th 2013. The 360 version will get some exclusive DLC stuff.

Looks pretty awesome! Mr. Slave, Jesus and Christmas Critter attacks!

                  New trailer from VGAs!

Uncensored cursing actually sounded kinda weird as the TV show is censored.

Looks brilliant, I can't wait to play this.

LOL, Cartman is "Grand Wizard", a title for members of the KKK.

                    Bump!

Yes the game is still alive, but THQ going over probably caused some problems with the release. Ubisoft is the publisher now, hopefully this'll be out before Christmas they say "holiday season" in the trailer.

Love how it looks just like the show!

Release date for Europe is now set for 13th December (that's Friday 13th btw. hope that isn't a sign for the quality of the final game!).

Collector's edition (Grand Wizard Edition) includes a Cartman figure and a (first ever made) map of the town of South Park.

Obsidian's highly anticipated RPG, South Park: The Stick of Truth, is now slated to come out on 13th December in the UK…

I want it at launch but...a couple of weeks after spending so much on PS4?

I have no intention of picking up a PS4 (or XBO), so this game has my Christmas gaming covered nicely.

Damnit...the cartman figure with the wizard edition is a kid robot.

                              Must.resist.expensive.preorder.
Hopefully it is the exact same one from the normal collection as I already have him.

My ps3 is destined to become my bedroom bluray player too so probably wouldn't even play it.

                              Must. Resist.

There is absolutely no reason why that wizard's edition costs as much as it does. A small, plastic figure and a paper map are NOT worth the extra ?40 odd quid.

Ubisoft did so well in making the Black Flag special editions value for money and here they've completely pissed all over their potential buyers! Oh well, I was always going to buy it on PC anyway.
