Other than what has already been mentioned...

I really enjoyed ExciteTruck (though it doesn't seem to get much love..)
House of the Dead Overkill is a great arcade on the rails laugh, especially with 2 of you.

Resident Evil Umbrella and Darkside. Both are wicked fun, more so if you like Resident Evil.

Cheers guys, will be looking into all these, and no doubt be buying a few. Are Jambo Safari and Samba de amigo any good on the wii?

I don't think Jambo is meant to be great but i've never played it.

Samba is ok for casual play, but if you are a proper Samba fan, the Wiimotes simply aren't accurate enough and lead to frustration, as does the connecting wire...
For me, I could do medium samba songs ok with only a couple of wiimote related mistakes. I'd say hard songs would be near impossible though.

I third that recommendation for Ghost Squad, MUST get decent guns though like charles said. And then of course HOTD Overkill which had also been mentioned, kept me entertained for yonks. Those 2 and No More Heroes are my most played Wii games.

I thought boom blocks was decent, as was metroid prime trilogy, smash bros, pikmin wii, skyward sword, lost winds. Besides wii is incredibly to mod for "try before you buy" :P

Metroid Prime Trilogy, Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 and maybe Monster Hunter Tri.

"Maybe"? I don't know how many still play Tri online in the EU but it's well worth it and a great introduction to the Monster Hunter franchise. Then you can migrate to 3G when it gets an English release.

Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes is worth a look too. Can't comment on Samurai Warriors 3 as I still haven't played it.

Check you local CEX/Game/Gamestation you should find this pre-owned for around ?3 or so, also No More Heroes usually goes for this kind of price and is also awesome.

Dead Space: Extraction is good too if you don't have the PS3 version already.

Has anyone got anything good or bad to say about Ju-On the Grudge?

I dunno about No More Heroes as it looks pretty shoddy now in comparison to other games that are about. Not played the sequel so maybe that looks a bit tidier.
I couldn't stand the open world sections inbetween the main missions...it looked awful.

Forgot to add Okami to my list of must buys

Both No More Heroes games are amazing. Obviously there's all the big first party games too, but you can't go wrong with the Metroid Prime Trilogy. 2 of the best cube games and one of the best Wii ones around.

                          Also Little King's Story

As many good uns have already been mentioned, I'll chuck in Wario Land: The Shake Dimension, and I love Tiger Woods 10, especially with the Motion Plus.

A couple of titles I've played for not very long at all are Tenchu: Shadow Assassins and Cold Mountain, they both seem interesting for the fiver or less than they can be had for, though I haven't spent enough time with them to form a concrete opinion.

I used to hate the Wii but it's been my most-played console the last month or two, plus I watch all my telly on it.

Wii version, since you won't need to swap discs and can use your gamecube controller if you want.
