Command & Conquer: Generals 2 [PC]

Huzzah! I've not always been a fan of EA, but I must say, this is a clear demonstration of the advantage of a big company with lots of dev studios. Essentially this is a revival of a fantastic but long dormant series, being developed by a new Bioware studio using DICE's Frostbite 2 engine.

I've got high hopes for this, it's just a shame it's so far away!

That'll be good to have a fresh set of eyes working on it. I actually thought the first generals game was the weakness C&C

Great news.

I tried the first a few years ago when Command & Conquer the First Decade was released. I agree with Boris, Generals isn't quite as good as the others but to be fair it was the first foray into a fully 3D game.
