    my viewtiful joe review

well i have just written a review, and i thouhgt i would want to share it with you folks, and maybe hear som comments on it

    Viwtiful joe
Capcom has in recent times launched numerous mediocre games, and Viewtiful joe breaks the trend, giving the player a somewhat distinctive experience in comparison to other games. It?s a 2d fighting scrolling game, which has been updated with several new attributes. Capcom refreshes the outdated genre and makes it feel modern, mostly due to the mixture of 2D, celshading and 3D. It can be described as a klonoa looking game with the exception of the celshading. Seeing the game in live makes up for a fluid feeling, and the graphic is best portrayed as eye-candy.

The gameplay is the games biggest prowess. It?s as I said before a 2d game, treating the player with fast action and Joe has to his disposal the aptitude to slow and fastening the time, as well as being able to zoom the game(adding new tricks to the array of tricks that is already available from the very beginning of the game). On top of all this Joe can bye new tricks and hearts at the shop by the money that he collects through the levels. Further on they have implemented puzzles which can be very illogical though and very frustrating occasionally. For instance if you slow the game a bus will get extra turbo and jump higher and that dosn?t make sense at all.

Further on the games is also devoid of other flaws such as the lack of save points, letting you start a level from the inauguration of the level when you for instance lose against the final boss of a level. Additionally the game has taken a large amount of critics for being really hard, and that can be perceived from two points of view. I myself favor games which treats the player with a challenge. And it can as well be perceived as a drawback The game nevertheless lets you choose between two difficulty levels, which is a good implementation if you have a preference for an easier level or the contrary. Admittedly, the game is hard and takes some time to beat, despite the fact that it?s a rather short game. Most of the time consists of replicating a level due to the fact that the player loses against the hard boss at the end of a level innumerable times. Thus is why.

The music section doesn?t give any impact at all to the game and is rather nonentity, except for one level which the music contribute making the ambience quite cosy though. The sound effects is very good and add to heightening the overall music score. In overall the game deals out a very good gaming experience and it was a long time ago when I was hooked up with a game as much as i was with this game, despite the tiny flaws that imbue the game.

    Graphic : 10
    Gameplay: 10
    Music: 6
    Durability: 8
    Overall score: 9

Hmmm, not being nasty, but Ive read better reviews. Run it through a spelling and grammer checker to pick out some errors.

This does make sense. The bus is rocket powered, so if you slow down time the rocket builds up more power in a shorter period of time, therefore when you go to normal speed it has more force behind it and shoots you further forward.

Sounds lovely. But in reality if you could really slow down time, then surely the speed of the EVERYTHING would slow down including the mechanism or forces building up the pressure on some of the games puzzles.

Still a nice idea though and doesn't detract if you don't think about it.

Well, yes of course it doesn't make sense in real life... but Joe breaks so many physical laws that it's not really worth wondering about these sorta things.
        Anyway.

The review... It shows passion, but it's a bit lopsided, I don't feel that the scored genuinely reflect the sentiment displayed in the text, and you need to work on your grammar. A lot. Still, it's a start.

I don't give a ****. But he was saying that thats how it would be if you slowed down time in real life. It wouldn't be. If I was that bothered about the ins and out sof real life I wouldn't own many games...

My feedback on the review would be that it is quite formulaic i.e. like IGN: Graphics, sound, presentation, etc. I prefer a more fluid approach to a review, talking about different aspects when required rather than splitting the game down into separate sections like that. So you could talk about the way Joe moves, which nicely introduces a link to the rest of the graphics, which vary nicely across different levels, which links nicely to talk about the general variety of levels and different types of abilities gained in each of the initial levels, which leads nicely into talking about the powerups in the shop which leads etc......
                    Hope that makes sense
However many people prefer a review where they can easily check out the "graphics" or "music" section, so you have to think about the audience you are pitching it at while writing.

Oh gosh, sorry, I didn't see that "Sweden" bit. Well, that considered, it's pretty nice. Your grasp of English is pretty good.
