Yes, 2012... the year of the End of the World in accordance to the prophecy of Roland Emmerich is upon us and with it potentially the last year of gaming that may well ever exist. So, before we all dig out our Pipboys and prepare to beat each other to death for spare vials of Redex we look to see what games the industry has lined up to ride this all out with. As it turns out, not too much.

Is Diablo III really due so soon? I know the beta's been going for a while but I didn't think it was due for release for some time yet. I will probably be doing a "help me choose a gaming PC" thread in time for it...

That King Arther trailer looked cool with all the dragons picking people off the battlefield. I won't be getting it because I rarely get into RTS, but I'm guessing if you are a RTS junkie, that would be a smart game.

Not sure what I'll be getting, but none of those.
