Does anyone use this wii/gamecube emulator?

Any thoughts? Am tempted but have little knowledge on set up and suchlike.
Would be running on an iMac if thats any interest

Yes i do, its absolutely fantastic. Played Xenoblade Chronicles in its entirety using it. Can't wait to give Skyward Sword a shot, will need a wiimote & nunchuck before i'll be able to though.

      I use it.

Like with any emulator it will take a bit of work googling builds and some trial and error, but for me that is part of the fun. The rewards are awesome though. Killer 7 and F-Zero in 1080p are just amazing to behold. Similarly, PS2 games on PCSX2 are unbelievable at high resolutions. I recently played through FFXII again and, just try it....

You need a fairly decent spec, obviously, but I know nothing about what an iMac does, or has going for it, excuse my ignorance.

Also I use it to play games I own, in higher resolutions. Not to yarr.

i think they said motion plus has not been emulated properly not tried it yet though

can use the mouse or a analgue pad to substitute the wii mote works better then i expected

to get a wiimote and nunchuck to work i think you also need to get a IR sensor (either plugged into the wii....which seems pointless if your emulating it or i think on amazon you can get these battery powered mobile ones)

Can I just chuck my Wii discs into the PC or do I need cracked iso's?

i believe it depends on which dvd drive you have in your mac - if it has one of these drives it will read wii discs:
            Hitachi LG GDR-8161b (IDE)
            Hitachi LG GDR-8162b (IDE)
            Hitachi LG GDR-8163b (IDE)
            Hitachi LG GDR-8164b (IDE)
            Hitachi LG GDR-H10NBLK (SATA)
Hitachi LG GDR-8082N - USB SLIM Portable Drive

I've recently just tried it for GameCube games on my new PC. Twilight Princess looks stunning! Plan to only download the iso of the games already own as my LG drive won't read GameCube/Wii discs.

IIRC most slot loading drives in the iMac will not accept GameCube discs due to the size.

Nah, you just need a bluetooth adapter for your pc. It looks easy to set up as well.

I tried it recently with the vague hope of playing Skyward Sword through it.

It looked absolutely stunning (SMG2 was my test item), but sadly my 4-year-old processor could only deliver the games in Max Payne-esque bullet time.

                          A good incentive to upgrade!

This thread reminded me of the awesome Prince song.
