COD 4 ps3 online totally wrecked?

I picked up a cheap copy of COD4 as, I missed the online multiplayer when it first came out and when its loading i get a screen that says 'call of duty 4' YES/NO. Nothing can be done from this menu except a reset. I read that the work round is to disconnent the internet whilst loading, then plug it in again. But even thats intermittment.

Is the online of this game totally wrecked? I know it was badly hacked, but is it totally unplayable now?

you should see the state of world at war now...............invincibility hacks and flying to.

IW and Treyarch couldnt give a flying f*ck for the games that got them where they are today, they dont seem to realise that people might enjoy going back to the previous iterations.
