I don't do thinking. Never have. TIE Fighter I can stretch to. Something like Red Alert, you can forget it. ZOE, Oni, I crave fast paced reaction gaming. So when people raved about a turn based war game for the GBA, I ignored them.
It kept coming. Even Edge liked it. So, last week, I bought a sleek black GBA SP, and this game.
Christ, it's fantastic. I haven't played a game this much for months. Compulsive, addictive, and for a tactical dunce like me, a real challenge. I can spend hours on it at a time, or just play a turn or two.
The presentation is spotless. The units all have their own charm, most armies look different, the characters are interesting and even the PAL box art is fabulous. Wish I had gotten into this eariler...
