Unplayed games on your shelf

Just two unplayed games:

Batman Arkham City - Xmas present; is next on the list after I finish Skyward Sword
Okamiden - bought this ages ago. No idea why.

I only own about 15-20 games in total now having spent the last few years purging. Much more satisfying for me to have a small set of played/playing games than piles of shelf filler.

Not sure what I'm doing with Fallout, loved 3 but think I might just get the GOTY on PC now that I have one powerful enough. Want to get through the Infamous series sometime, I'll save that for a rainy day

Oh man, I wish you hadn't started this thread, Matt, as I've just gone through my unplayed games, which I've been meaning to do for ages.

Quite frankly, I'm ashamed. I think I have as many unplayed games as completed.

I always used to play one game at a time and be happy with that, but cheap games on here and talk of games I think I'd like have meant I've bought far more games than I have time to play. Since becoming a dad, gaming time is even less, so heaven knows what I was thinking when I got some of these.

I don't want to buy any more games this year because of this list, even though I'm eying up Dark Souls...

Unplayed
Pilotwings 64 - Bought this from a retro shop in Brum after playing the 3DS version but I don't have my N64 set up!
Alone in the Dark 360 - borrowed this off a friend, but didn't play it as I'd heard it was naff.
Final Fantasy XII DS - Bought this at an airport as I thought I'd need a game to play. I didn't. Still sealed.
Table Tennis 360 - Got this when it was cheap, but never had an inclination to play it.
James Cameron's Avatar - Christmas 2010 present, but I played L4D2 instead. Would like to play it eventually.
Uncharted 1 PS3 - A friend gave it to me to play. I know it's supposed to be ace, but I prefer 360 gaming.
Halo 3 ODST - Swapped with a work colleague for Forza 3. He's since left and this remains unplayed!
Timeshift - I won this in a radio competition, but poor reviews made me put it to the bottom of the pile.
Batman AA - Got this from my Secret Santa 2010 and have still not played it and there's been a sequel!
Armored Core For Answer - I searched for ages for a copy of this at a great price. Found one, never played it.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Got this in Play's sale as I've never played the series and my friends rave about them.
Beatles Rockband - Had visions of playing this with my wife on holiday. Never happened despite lugging mics and guitars away!
Fallout: New Vegas - Playing an already completed Fallout 3 was pointless so I picked this up... at the same time as Oblivion!
Brutal Legend - Loved the demo, Heavy Metal and Jack Black. Bought this cheap off here, but not found time to play it.
Vanquish - Heard good things and videos made it look immense. Bought through here and not found time to play it.
Skyrim - Got this at Christmas when the price dropped, but I'm still working my way through Oblivion.

Barely Played
Ghost Recon 2 - ?5 with no cover. My friends and I loved the first so got the sequel and only played it a couple of times. Not touched the single player.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Had this for ages. Sketcz's Games TM article and rerelease has made me want to play it again. I never got further than the Monkey Hunter mode every time I tried to play it!
NFS: Hot Pursuit - Didn't like the handling so never got far with it. I even bought Burnout 2 and Stuntman Ignition as I think they're a much better games.
Tony Hawk's Project 8 - Loved the demo, but found the full game fiddly and frustrating.
Quantum of Solace - Got as far as the balance-beam section, kept falling off, gave up.
Dark Void - Lovely Kryss has just sent me this. Enjoyed the first couple of chapters and hope to go back post-Oblivion.
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 - I need to play the SP and I've only ever played T-Hunt.
Saint Row 2 - GTA talk made me get this as it's more fun. Played some co-op with Elan, but SP has been barely touched.

Need To Finish
Stranglehold - played a lot of this, but the samey gameplay meant I got a little tired.
Bioshock 2 - I want to finish this, but it was starting to drag. There's only so many loons you can shoot.
Moder Warfare 2 - Played and loved CoD2 and MW1, but this didn't click and remains uncompleted.

Sorry this post is so lenghty, it's more of a reminder to me to stop buying games!
