Another end of an era, bye bye Hudson Soft

Yet another old school company is going for good. To be absorbed into the ranks of Konami where most likely they will use Hudsons ip's to create terrible games, nowdays Konami's output is lacklustre at best.

Some of my favourite characters are by Hudson, ahh Bomberman & Pc kid how i shall miss thee. Shame to see them go as i liked Hudsons last few games on the wii, Calling & Tower of shadow i really enjoyed.

It looked like such a fun place to work back in the 1980s. Sad news indeed.

I must admit during the pc engine era they were at their strongest but even later on they churned out some pretty good games.

Same. But then I know very little about them beyond Adventure Island.

Yeah I'll always think of them as closely linked to the PC Engine. Didn't they have a train on their old premises or something?

Last year Konami started to absorb Hudson, this year they completed it and all their assets and IPs are Konami's property.

Have Konami started using any of Hudsons ip's yet?
