New Vs Second Hand purchasing habit poll

Buying PS2 games from the glorious land of Nippon obviously won't be new.

I went with 75% new when really it's probably more like 90% these days.
It's only a matter of waiting it out for new games to drop in price.

I buy whatever is cheaper at the time. So basically if a new release is something I must have I'll buy it new. However, 2nd hand purchases are very very rarely from shops. They are usually from this place or similar.

Anyway, I went for 100%, because although I buy a few 2nd hand on here, they are almost all retro.

Vast majority are new as a tend to trade stuff I've finished in for them plus I typically can't hold off

I'll pick the odd thing up second hand later that I might have missed but it's not that much really.

I buy pretty much everything new, with the odd pick up here from the sales section. With the PS3 i'll often wait until the price drops on a particular title though, I grudge first day release prices when I know they'll soon plummet. All my Vita purchases have obviously been full whack as they're all import, but I think when the UK models go on sale i'll be happy enough to pay for games as they're released as the prices seem reasonable.

I went for 75% new 25% 2nd hand, its not really true but there was no one for renting and a few second hand. I would say 75% bought new (even if its on a deal) 20% rented 5% second hand. I think I have sold more second hand that bought them recently.

I've ticked 50% but perhaps 75% new would be more accurate as really I just buy from whereever is cheapest, which invariably means new at the moment! (Ace Combat, Sonic Gen, Battlefield 3, MW3, HP Lego, Uncharted 3 and others all bought new nice and cheap).

I have no shame in buying a used game and often there is no choice with older titles anyway unless you go platinum, like Resistance 2 for example.

25% new of current gen games mainly because so few new games I think are good enough to warrant ?40. There are exceptions though of course.

100% new for me but only because there wasn't a 95% option. I will buy off people on here but never from a shop.
If a new game isn't worth full RRP to me right now I'll just leave it. Maybe one day it'll be at a price that I'm happy to pay and I'll buy it then.

Went for 100% new. Haven't bought anything pre owned in quite a while now that I think of it.
