"Project C.A.R.S." - community driven development for sim

Anyone keeping an eye on this. PC/Xbox/PS/WiiU

Based on the Shift engine, but turned into a sim, this looks like it could be fantastic.
Each build is released to the community to disect and decide what should be changed/included.
You can pay to have different levels of feedback access (pre-game game!) and you can even get a share of the profits if your pitched idea makes it into production (if I read it correctly).

It will either end up as a game that will only please a bunch of car sim fanatics or will be the greatest thing ever. Or be somewhere in between

If I pay enough, do you think they will include a mode where the cars transform into giant organic tentacle beast and you can fly across an MMO sized world and reek havoc upon a race of small gelatinous humanoids?

"There's the intention of having it come to console too, with Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U versions currently slated". I hope so.

This looks so bloody good, it appears to be my perfect racing game.

Let's hope the Xbox 360 port is coming along nicely.

I wonder if it shares anything in common with the sim-esque Test Drive Ferrari game that SMS is releasing (though its an oddly obscure release)
