RUMOUR! Rocksteady's next game to be TMNT

Sounds far to good to be true for my liking... but still... Please please please please be true.

Could be, Warners handled the last film and I suppose they'd let Rocksteady work on this and a new Batman game. I'd have to see it to get excited though, the idea doesn't thrill me mainly due to it being Turtles.

I heard it's Bebop working on it...

        Bebop.

Anyway, a Turtles game from Rocksteady could be pretty sweet, a more darker presentation of the Turtles more akin to the original comic book, not the kid's TV show. I say bring it!

Don't know why but it got me thinking Rocksteady should work on an open world Final Fight with GTA elements.

Mission: Bring down crack den in the back of the club!
Bonus points: Pile dive the boss off the 2nd floor of the club into the Casino table.

          I have random thoughts sometimes........

Which kids TV show though? The late 90's one I grew up with was indeed quite the cheesefest compared to the original comics, but the late 00's one was pretty decent.

(There's a bizarre full length animated feature film called 'Turtles Forever' where these three continuities of Turtles all end up together against some super dimension hopping bad guy. It is absolute genius.)

Sounds mint from the linked article. I actually quite enjoyed the previous game released with the CGI movie (around 2005?) although it was quite easy to play through (couple of hours tops).

I meant the late 80's/early 90's one which I watched as a kid (of course back then it was THE coolest thing ever). I haven't really seen the new animated show, just a few random times on the TV, but it seemed decent enough.

I actually heard about this back when it was coming out, but haven't seen it. Should be worth a look.

Anyway, time for a classic "who's your favourite turtle?"

                Mine: RAPHAEL

This would be freaking sweet if they do make it.
I'd love a good Turtles game now.

I still miss playing Turtles in Time

Same buddy...Raphael was always the best.

What did everyone make of the CGI TMNT movie?
                  I think it's a good movie & looks amazing.

they need to base this on the old school eastman and laird graphic novels.

Didn't mind the CG film, better than the 3 live action ones. When I was a kid I preferred Donatello, later Leonardo... but probably Donatello. Least fave was Raphael, outside the comics he's always 1 dimensional broody.

                        Woah woah WOAH!

                        ixnay on the ninjanay...

It's HERO Turtles - there might be some kids on the forum that read the word
                        and turn into cRaZeD psychopaths!

There's a nice retrospective on all the TMNT games on Hardcore Gaming 101, which is subjective, but very well written. I personally loved the first Game Boy game.
I keep reading about the Turtles at the monent and I keep thinking about buying the Arcade off Live...

If the game was based on the original comic, that'd be great!

Finally, I liked Michaelangelo because of the nunchuks, but I think Donatello's brains and ranged weapon were great too. You're right about grumpy teen Raph, crazytaxinext.

TMNT Tournament Fighters was a game I loved and stil trying to get at a decent price.
I will admit to being a big Turtles fan and own all the live action movies! Like Donatello and Raphael the best. Leo is just a goody goody!

Never seen the newer stuff or played the newer games. It all looked a bit brutal and charmless tbh.

nickelodeon now own the copy writes so this is hard to believe. But a New series will air this year so it could be a tie in with that?

I just want to see the rights given back to konami

To think that they went nuts over the word "ninja" in the past! That new Nickelodeon version takes it to the XTREME! Nunchaku and bo staffs weren't enough, so they've added blades to them!

Some kid somewhere is gonna lose an eye after watching that!
