unlimited saga... what do you guys think of it?

According to numerous reviews its a mediocre game, whereas in japan it has a huge fanbase and is one of the most prominent game. In general the game often gets 6 out of ten/ 60% so its a difficult question

It's prequel SaGa Frontier 2 was crap. From what I've heard it's more of the same, so I'd give it a miss.

Just to let you know the european version comes in a snazzy fold out box with the Final Fantasy X-2 Eternal Calm Prologue DVD looks like a nice wee package,although this is maybe trying to make up for an average game.

If everyone liked the same things then it'd be a ****ing boring world.

I like the disjointed story. I like how I can choose which part of the 'saga' I want to play next. I like fiddling with the weapons.

To me, that's fun.

If it wasn't for the fact that I waited ages on Saga 2 coming out, I probably wouldn't like it so much, but I feel the need to defend it sometimes. It's a misunderstood wee gem

It's definitely something you have to spend a lot of time with. Personally, one of the kicks I got out of it, was how you could pick different attacks for different characters, and suddenly you'd learn a combo attack. I liked the sense of discovery that was always just around the corner at times.

But meh, I bet Unlimited Saga isn't as good.
