Seems genuine enough thanks to the inclusion of screenshots. Seems to be just for PS3 too. Probably a sign that LBP needs a big rest when you're ripping off a game that largely ripped off your own in the first place.

Why is no karting game except Mario Kart enduringly fun? That's what I want to know.

I was referring to Sony's own Modnation Racers which used the same create, share, play mechanic that LBP brought. MR makes this game pretty much redundant.

The problem with kart games is devs seem to treat them as throwaway budget games so the course design is usually lacking. For some reason they can never crack the handling model either. Should be easy though.

Create share play is a Sony "thing" though isn't it? Something they said they we're pushing as a concept?emory poor so may be wrong.

Anyway, this game is only redundant in as much as any other kart racer. Mario kart is dead to me these days. I actually really enjoyed the karting in gt5. Take that, add boosts and shortcuts, no weapons though, and that's a decent kart racer I reckon.

It'll at least be interesting to see how far they go with the create options. Hopefully it's a better kart game than LBP is a platformer

Maybe the LBP devs thought they could make a karting game better than Mod Nation Racers, a karting game that will put karting games back on the virtual map. Mod Nation isn't the best and Mario Kart, for me, is getting a little tiresome.

Well yeah, I actually agree, I didnt like it much.

It still felt like a little big planet style take on a karting game though.
