GX is one of the hardest games I've ever played in my entire life. Story mode has taken me AGES just to complete on Hard...

I've got to put more time into it soon though.

Don't buy GX if you have 64. Unless you want to be dissapointed that is...

I disagree Firsty. I've got a completed copy of F-Zero X on Master and I still play it a good hour (possibly two depending on work) a day in school, on multi player. I still love F-Zero GX too.

It's not the same game. It's certainly... different

The attack is less satisfying as a kill means less, but it is still great to kill rivals... It certainly seems faster. X felt slow after GX. GX looks amazing, inspite of pop-up on a few courses... and I like the music... I think it's pretty cool. Possibly not as good as the Rock guitar in X, but really adrenaline pumping and exhillerating... I have many reasons why I like both equally, and disagree with your comment.

I believe that F-Zero X loses no charm or playability after the sequel. Yet F-Zero GX is still strong and a very worthy to one of my favourite games of all time. I suppose the real test is whether I'll still be playing GX in 5 years time.

Each to their own I suppose.
