The weird games feature in Edge

Intereting article, but can you think of any games you think should've been included and any that should've not been there? This isn't a cue to start bashing Edge's choices, I'm just intersted in seeing what other think. Also, do you remember any of the games from the list?

Personally, I don't understand why Monkey Ball was there. There's nothing particularly strange about it. I think Deus Ex Machina should've been in that list, though. I used to have that 'game'. Itwas interesting, but very very odd. The soundtrack on audio cassette was a great idea, too. Freak Out seems like another strange ommission.

From the list, I remember Gerry the Germ and Frankie. Oh, and Edge, you're wrong; Frankie wasn't just a spectrum game. I had it on the Commodore 64, it had extra levels, renditions of the band's music, and was generally beetter. So there.

So, what weird games do you remember or know of today?

Monkey Ball 2's story was ****ed. Totally bizarre. And the magic dances.
Apart from that, didn't recognise any of the games.
I always thought Frogger clone I had on my Vic 20 was kinda surreal. I mean you had to avoid trains, with a frog, very odd.

Pixie the Mircodot. Normal type of maze game, but you controlled a pixel. Yep, just a single pixel, trying to avoid enemies. Crazy.

Ady, please can you repost this in the Edge thread for that months issue -

          - each month we have one specific Edge thread for all Edge related discussion for that month, it avoids the issue of multiple Edge threads on our forum. As soon as the scores are available, there will be a thread set up, so its best to use the search function if its not on the top page.

          Thanks
