    For me 7 was the best. However I must point out that 7 was the first one I played and the first Japanese RPG I'd played which would explain my regard for it.

    I really like 6 but have some issues with it.

      That's just how I feel. I adore FFVII, but realise it could have all been different had I played Jap RPGs in the SNES era. I also have issues with 6, mainly some unfair sections of excruciating random battleness. Sometimes, exploration and puzzles just don't deserve random battles throwing your mind off them every 2 steps...

        I'm waiting for my US PSOne to turn up along with FF:Anthology and FFVII. I already have my NTSC screen at the ready. *looks across desk at it*.
