Jeremy McGrath's "Offroad" (Rallisport Challenge 3)

Previous Jeremy McGrath games have been MotoX games, but this is Truck, Buggy and Rally vehicles. And loads of "Monster" sponsorship.

Judging from the trailer, this could turn out to be a decent arcade-orientated rally game. Very reminiscent of Rallisport Challenge. It'll all come down to the handling, but it looks like a nail it everywhere and slide it game and it has a decent sensation of speed, so if they can make it feel fun to drive, fingers crossed it'll be ok.

They are aiming for 1080p, 60 frames per second too.

Looks good, but:
Cars look like they are made of wood, similar to the old V-Rally. Lightly touch something and they go tumbling over (PHYSICS!!!)
"environmental obstacles" sound horrible

It doesn't look anything like Motorstorm, which has big wide open races with multiple paths. This looks like straight up fast racing down narrow tracks (2 vehiclces wide) where you have to drift all the corners right at speed.

Yeah, the environment things look pants.

Rallisport was the same style physics - clip a rock and you'd be flipping.

What's interesting is its developed by 2XL. These guys have been making offload racers on IOS for a couple of years. Their mobile games have been leaps and bounds ahead on IOS, both in graphics and gameplay. Will be interesting how they do on the bigger platforms

So either this game is nothing like Rallisport Challenge or its Motorstorm on a tighter track. You had me hoping Charles, but i guess i'll wait for DICE to pull their fingers out ( i know i may be in for a long wait).

Don't get the rallisport challenge link here that game had rally cars in track and dirt racing mainly, this is more of a motor storm type thing with tighter tracks.
