Capcom have announced that they are remastering the two on-rails Resident Evil Chronicles games for the Wii and bring it to the PS3 this June.

Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection will be coming to the PlayStation 3 across Europe and North America in June 2012 as a digital download! Featuring Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, this Collection will be available to purchase from the Playstation Store, with each title available to download individually at a later date.

Pretty happy about this news, I loved the first one on Wii and never got round to importing the second but wanted to.
Still hoping for XBLA/PSN versions of REmake/RE1-3 though or the eternally desired Resident Evil 2 Remake.
The first one was pretty fun, especially in co-op and finding all the weapons and secrets added some more replayability. Looking forward to playing The Darkside Chronicles

Glad to see this coming. I was THIS close to buying the Wii versions in the GAME sale (as I'm replacing my US Wii games), but I'll hold off now.

Capcom Reveals New Screenshots

Capcom has released new images for the collection as well as confirming trophy support and an auto aim feature.

I remember reading somewhere Chronicles ran on the id tech 4 engine. Found that quite surprising.
