Gundam Battle Operation [PS3]

Gundam Unicorn has just came out and Namco Bandai announces a new online Gundam game, exclusive for the PS3.
Gundam Battle Operation will adopt the freemium model and is a 6-VS-6 online game set during the U.C. 0079 (the first Gundam series starring Amuro Ray and the RX-78-2).
Judging from the screenshots the formula is similar to the Senjo no Kizuna arcade game, with two sides (Federation and Zeon) fighting until one of them reaches a certain number of points (or one depletes the available pool through respawning); it will also possible to exit the Mobile Suit and go around as a squishy pilot to repair allies or dare an anti-MS attack with tiny human-sized guns.
Gundam Battle Operation is developed by B.B. Studio, who developed the good Gundam 0081 (PS3) and is scheduled for June 2012. There will be a closed beta for 10.000 players for the end of March.

The screenshots look good, a lot of 0079 Mobile Suits (yay the Z'Gock) plus a MSV (the Zaku Sniper). Throw in the Kampfer (during 0080 the One Year War was still raging) and Namco Bandai will have my money.

It's the same Namco Bandai that have no plans to publish the Gundam Unicorn game in the US when the blu-rays of the anime are released almost at the same time in the US and Japan.

Still no details on what the paid content will be, but with a customization system in place I'd bet on essentially anything, from more powerful weapon to personalized emblems to Mobile Suits.
If the RX-79[G] is in it there must be the Gouf B-3 as well.
