[ Indexing of side-scrolling Beat 'em Ups ]

    Hi there fellow gamers!

As you may (or may not) know, side-scrolling Beat 'em Ups like Final Fight or Double Dragon are one of my favourite genres in videogames.
So I am currently working on a database for those games and I'd like to hear your opinion on the following:

I want to index the games with infos like "How many players can play?", "How many characters can you choose from?" etc.
The idea behind it is to be able to search for, like, games that allow 4 players to play, have 2D graphics and feature Power Ups.

I've come up with the following (in addition to Year, Developer, System):

    Players: 1~X
    Characters: 1~X
    Stages: 1~X
    Bonus Stages: Yes/No
    Scoring: Yes/No
    Saving: Yes/No
    Graphics: 2D/3D Healthbars: Yes/No
    Z-Axis: Yes/No Time Limit: Yes/No
    Grabs: Yes/No Throws: Yes/No
    Pick Ups: Yes/No Mounts: Yes/No
    Jumping: Yes/No Panic Attack: Yes/No
    Power Ups: Yes/No Food: Yes/No
Some additional info on some of the categories:
Z-Axis: Can your character move "up and down" into the scenery or just straight from left to right?
Pick Ups: Can your character pick up and use items like pipes, bats, rocks, etc.?
Power Ups: Can you pick up items that give advantages like invulnerability or super strength for a short period of time?
Healthbars: Do regular enemies have their own healthbars (often with their character names next to it)?
Mounts: Can your character mount horses, robots, dinosaurs, etc. to improve mobility / strength?
Panic Attack: (also known as Desperation Move) Can your character perform a special attack that knocks back surrounding enemies (usually in exchange for some health)?

What do you think? Is this enough info to index a beat 'em up properly or did I miss something important?

    Cheers,
    ceno

I started this thread in 2007, and there's a fair few suggestions of some good 'uns in there.

Why not try working your way through some of those and making notes as you do it?

This might be a dumb idea, but what about listing the number of buttons used for play? I know a lot used only a couple, but still.
