Class of Heroes 2 - digital and physical

The original Class of Heroes was picked up by Atlus, following Etrian Odyssey's success.
In Japan the game thrived and generated few sequels (including on the 3DS) and a remake on the PS3; Atlus however never bothered localizing anything past the first title (which I didn't found good, but that looks like a common problem with all Japanese Wizardry games); now MonkeyPaw and Gaijinworks have plans for Class of Heroes 2 (2009, PSP) and Class of Heroes 2G (2010, PS3) as digital titles.

They also want to release a physical deluxe edition but they need 500,000 USD and they are turning to Kickstarter to get the money. The campaign starts tomorrow and rewards will include a trip to Tokyo to visit the developers, E3 passes, signed posters and more.

If the Kickstarter is successful, MP and GW want to publish several JRPGs that never left Japan. Their primary platform is the PSP, but they are closing deals on "all major platforms".

    Kickstarter's up.
Already 20k (out of 500k) USD pledged. Pledge 50k USD and you get to be a character in the game, fly to Tokyo and more. Someone already pledged 500 and 1000 USDs; deadline is the end of April, they'll probably get there.

Does this mean we could see Valkyria Chronicles III localised?

If they are actually able to wrestle it from Sega's jaws they'll reach whatever Kickstarter goal in one day.

Gaijinworks and MonekyPaw have upload the kickstarter page with a video showing off the game.
They are very far from their 500k goal but Class of Heroes II will go digital only if the Kickstarter fails.

I thought about supporting this project, but then it just came to me, they already have the game done, financed and everything, but now they are asking people to donate money to finance a Deluxe Pack, which you have to purchase afterwards.
This is one of the dodgy project that should not be support by anyone, but it is a free world man and you can do whatever you want.

Pledges from 59$ and up automatically receive the Deluxe Pack, it's clearly stated in the reward column.

Ok fair enough, but that is not the real problem I have with the proposal they have put up on kickstarter.
At least they are nice enough not to charge international donors extra for shipping. Shipping fees for non-US addresses are mentioned in the faq, javascripts are bad

                  Thread revival.
The Kickstarter goal for the physical release of Class of Heroes 2 was not met (that was in April 2012), but Gaijinworks persevered and the download version of the game will be available on PSN once it passes Sony QA; an European edition is planned but it still needs to be rated by PEGI.
Unwilling to let things go, Gaijinworks and MoneyPaw are testing the waters with this page: if they hit 2500 people willing to buy the game, they will publish Class of Heroes 2 on UMD. By signing up you don't actually preorder the game, it's just to have Gaijinworks (or their publishers) see if the game is worth spending money on.

Just read that they have achieved the 2500 pre-orders, i guess we wait for the 3 covers to go up and vote for our favourite, then sign up at amazon.
