It really is fantastic!! Even the animation isn't as issue as it joins fairly well and the players don't look like they are going to trip over the ball when dribbling!

Ok after around four hours of play here is what I have come up with.
+Good visuals and improved animation
+Good passing system, improved shooting
+Manual modifier is superb
+Great finesse shots
+Team ai is utterly sublime
+Dribbling movement is greatly improves, doesn't feel like the ball gets stuck under feet as much
+Good keepers
+Deft touches are nice, flick up move is also very cool
+Nice pace overall, not too arcadey.
+Less aggressive player lock on than Fifa, if you miss control you have to chase it
+Dribbling doesn't feel completely sticky feet
-Still stiff animation
-Terrible sound
-Sluggish response at times on loose balls
-Sprinting can feel all too laboured
-Shooting still not satisfying enough on hard shots
-Skill system is unresponsive and frankly rubbish
-Suspect ball physics at times, too floaty
-Player change is a pain, semi changes when you don't want but manual doesn't change when you pass to a team mate!
-No real analogue movement, you can't just walk which is a pain when trying to block angles on defence
All I can think of so far. It is damn good but I don't think as a product overall I would expect it to be better than Fifa. Though I do think the AI will allow better football with more variation but it depends what you want from your football games. I like the online side and the career mode of Fifa nowadays.Comment

Played a couple of games, coming of the back fifa12 the animation still looks total horse crap, player ID has little impact on gameplay which istelf is still good as PES has always been, seen the keepers make some stupid descions on chips like instead of catching a accidental chip i did that was moving at a snails pace, Boufon decided after walking out to catch it to weakly jump and punch with both hands on roof of his net from the 6 yard line...
No managed to get the hang of the manual aim stuff, i thought we where getting some point the analog stick in a certain direction for a corner of the goal mouth thing but instead we get to just ploink it left or right on a very sensitive direction arrow.Comment

Really impressed so far. Loving options I have on the ball. Deft dribbling, double touch dribble and trapping options (Perfect Trap & Flick), just give the game that extra zest we see in modern footy.
It feels really refined too. Great so far.Comment

Why does it keep st-st-stuttering!? (360) Played a PES demo a few years back and it did the same thing, surely they could of smoothed it out by now. Or is it still using the same engine?Comment

I've never had any stuttering ever, yet every last few years someone, usually on eggbox is suffering from it. Can someone please confirm I'm not being a blind fanboy about this?Comment
