    Kirby 20th: Adventure, Anniversary Collection

This year it's Kirby's 20th Anniversary and whilst we'll have to see if Nintendo wastes it like Mario's or celebrates it like Zelda's they have announced two new releases:

On April 25th in Japan, Nintendo will release Kirby's Adventure on 3DS Store, it's a 3D release of the old NES title.

Coming later in the year is Kirby Collection on Wii. So far they have yet to give an indication of which games will be on the collection.

Looking at the bright side and if I'm not mistaken, there's no Kirby All-Stars ROM they can just dump on a disc with a random emulator and call it a day.

Yeah but then doesn't that just mean that this will feature roms of the original versions of the games rather than graphically superior updates?

I imagine it will just a be a collection of all the Kirkby roms that are on the virtual console.

          F$ck.

I don't mind if they just use ROMs without any enhacements: I don't particularly like the sprites in the SNES ports of the NES Super Mario games albeit the deeper colour palette and higher resolution.
It's best to have the original game with a good interface to swap between games, an encyclopedia and some extras, whatever they might be...something like what Smash Bros. did.

The Mario 25th Anniversary was the epitome of laziness, better nothing than something like that once again.

News about the anniversary collection are comforting.

The Japanese edition of Kirby's 20th Anniversary Special Collection will include these old games:

            Kirby's Adventure (NES)
            Kirby's Dream Land (GB)
            Kirby's Dream Land 2 (GB)
            Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES)
            Kirby Super Star (SNES)
            Kirby 64 (N64)

In addition, there will be 10 challenge stages based on Kirby's copy abilities.

Other extras include a calendar recapping everything linked to Kirby, from videogames to comics, soundtrack and mini atbook.

Is this Wii only or will it come to 3DS?

Why didn't this get a PAL Release?
