Sony will surely use the Playstation brand for their next home console but they might skip the number four for tetraphobia (or a simple brand renewal), so we might see Playstation Orbis next time around.
Microsoft...I don't know, maybe Xenon? It was much cooler than X Box 360 and if they go along the 720 route things will get very silly.

Wasn't the recent rumour suggesting that the next Microsoft console would be called Xbox 8? Sony will simply go with PS4 I reckon.

Yeah, People are suggesting Xbox 8 because of all the Windows 8 stuff happening this year.
Also the 8 on it's side looks like the symbol for infinnity, which had been rumoued to the the name before as had loop
