Having already bought Doom 1 and 2 on XBLA I might still get this. I'm probably wrong but I'm not sure you can get them on the store anymore??

Not played Doom 1 or 2 on yonks! Never did get round to playing Doom 3 so this is very much welcomed by me!

You can no longer buy Doom as Activision released it on Live Arcade but Doom II is still available and was released by Bethesda.

This sounds like a great package. I would love to see Doom & Doom II in Widescreen on consoles and the changes to Doom III might make people see it in a new light. Quite literally with that armour mounted flashlight!

Mounted flashlight sounds good, but judging from the trailer they haven't changed as much as I'd like. For example. you'd think if this is being remastered then they'd completely re-design the shotgun and/or drop Sarge's double barrel shottie in from Resurrection of Evil - which has to be one of the best weapons ever.

I must be one of the only people who found some value in the separate flashlight, at least in creating panic. Didn't really make a lick of sense though given the situation. Any one of us would have taped one to our gun. As usual with this sort of thing, if it went handheld I'd be all over it. But I've played through it before and I still have it so wouldn't go for it again on the big consoles.

It shifted from Activision to Bethesda so it had to be removed.
It's back on now though, Bethesda published for 400MSP.
