It's not that I don't like the current design, but I'd be really happy if they surprised everyone on Tuesday with something a little more funky. I reckon it'll look mostly the same though, just tidied up a little with the Sync button hidden and the panel centred.

I agree. It's nowhere near being ugly, and is much more pleasing to the eye than the PS3 in my opinion, but it would be cool if it would have just a bit more personality in its design.

Yes, as Alex said, the design looks quite sleek, but you can't help but feel they're playing it a bit too safe.

It would be nice to see Nintendo try to surprise us.

Is the tablet controller not enough of a surprise?

Looks like Nintendo are going to reveal new information about the Wii U tomorrow night, and it will be broadcasted worldwide

Yes, that was nice, but the way it leaked out wasn't. If I'm honest, I'm not overly keen on how big unveils get spoilt these days.

Yeah the internet has taken the romance out somewhat.

Whaaat? This came out of nowhere. And it seems to crashing with the Ubi conference if my time zone conversion is correct? Man, there I was thinking things was gonna be simple...

IIRC Ubisoft's conference is on the 4th (during E3), so a day later than nintendo direct broadcast (streamed before E3 starts).

Of course! I mixed up the dates. Balance is restored.

Will it be possible to watch the whole Nintendo conference afterwards? I will likely be unable to see it at 5pm and would much rather watch the whole thing later on instead of just reading about what happened.

I think Gamespot put the lot up for viewing afterwards. At least, they did with Quakecon last time.

There is something on tonight but also the main conference on Tuesday. Tonight is supposed to be about the Wii U.

Does anybody have a link to the Nintendo direct Wii-U thing that is starting in 50 mins?
