Six months in, GOTY so far?

So we are almost half way through the year.

Which games have you spent the most time with or enjoyed the most so far?

For me, the time suckers have been Trials Evolution, Battlefield 3 with Karkand pack, and Dodonpachi Resurrection (came out in November in EU, but didn't pick it up till recently).

The Legend of Grimrock, PC. Right now can't think of any other game that's GOTY material.
I still have to play The Last Story, which feels the most promising of the latest RPGs on the Wii (well, still have to play all of them), but nothing else comes to mind.

The only game I have really given any time to that was released this year is Street Fighter X Tekken, but it's not GOTY material.

Think I only bought one new game this year and that was Binary Domain. Excellent game but still not a GOTY...that will be Borderlands 2.

Using only games released this year it would probably have to be Mass Effect 3. I enjoyed it though it wasn't as good as its predecessor, looking back at what I've played and what's still coming this year 2012 is one of the weakest line ups in many years. Whatever wins it I don't think it will be of the usual standard.

I've played quite a few games this year but most weren't 2012 releases, most of the good stuff seems to come out in the winter doesn't it?

I did really enjoy Uncharted Golden Abyss, not quite GOTY worthy but was still great fun!

Lumines electronic symphony, project mirai and gravity rush for me so far has been the year of the handhelds for me

Probably Mass Effect 3 so far and looking at the release schedule for the next six months it might even hang in there.

Borderlands 2 and Hitman: Absolution are on the radar and the ubiquitous Halo and CoD sequels I'm sure will pop their head above the parapet, though the next six month's releases seems incredibly thin.

Perhaps Sleeping Dogs will surprise us.

So far for me The Darkness 2 is up top alongside Fez, Trials Evolution, Journey and Max Payne 3.
I'm sure more will appear over time or some I have forgotten about will reappear.

Lumines Electronic Symphony, Journey, Asura's Wrath, Mass Effect 3, Dragon's Dogma and Yakuza: Black Panther 2 are my favourites of the year so far. Expecting at least 3 of them to be on my final 2013 top 10 as well.
