    Sonic Adventure 2 HD

Sonic Adventure 2 is set to be released at the end of the year on XBL and PSN thanks to a listing on Xbox.com that appeared briefly. The suggestion is that the release will be a HD upgrade like JSR is recieving rather than a port like the first Sonic Adventure game recieved.

Keeping with the tradition of having every Sonic game on XBLA arcade I'll probably buy this as it was half decent; not a classic but good enough for a replay after 10 years.

I'll be tempted, hopefully it's released at a good price point. Sonic Adventure was fun to go through again but no different really to DC's version so hopefully any HD job on this isn't half hearted.

Good to hear. I only played through the second recently and it's a bit overlooked. The first stage where you're running away from the truck is immense and the later jungle level where you play as Shadow was really good too - no messing around, just go as fast as you possibly can. Plus there's no Big the Cat! - well, he is in the game but as a kind of easter egg.

Oh I spent like 100 hours on the second episode on Dreamcast. It's totally awesome, but I won't rebuy it. Too many other games I didn't do yet... to do.
