Kickstarter "Ringbow" a gamepad on your finger

Came across a newspiece on Engadget about this. Its a tiny game controller that you put on your finger. Its got a small dpad/joystick on it and is designed to work in conjunction with touchscreen controls on tablets and smart phones. $45 dollare investment in the kickstarter grabs one of the devices.
The gadget fan in me is really tempted to invest in this as it could be a great way to get physical controls on tablet gaming with a device I can put in my pocket and forget about:

Yeah I can see it working on android quite well but not in locked down IOS. Found a vid on youtube showing it in use:
