Been playing some MvC 1 on the DC and I think I have a contender for the cheapest boss ever: Onslaught. I can't even get past his second form - if he has a third I literally give up with this game! he just launches screen wiping laser beams that you can't avoid. Argh!

Aye it's just daft. The Marvel Vs Capcom games as a whole have that problem for me.

No mate, just two thankfully. He is the last boss after all.

You will be able to disable them in MvC Origins.

As far as the HD upscaling part is concerned... theres a video that shows an arcade cabinet view complete with screen curvature, the real cabinet, and SCANLINES... thats what they said anyway.. so.. IM BUYING

bah looking forward to this, but they release date irritates me same day as DoA5 and having played that at the IGN event recently I loved it and am seriously looking forward to it, not to mention Tekken Tag 2 is out in a similar window. Still will get to it eventually, could really do with it now as I'm bored of Persona 4 Arena which is as much fun as Blazblue, which personally I'd rather watch paint dry...

Fighting games aren't that interesting if you have nobody to play against.

On another note.. just went back to Final Fight double impact which has similar cabinet+scanlines effect.. well the "arcade monitor" filter which they call it is total TRIPE!! the scanlines don't show up correctly and they didnt even disable the paintbrish looking filter resulting in a horrible mess!!

The scanlines in all the SVC collections by M2 are sublime!! Bought them all

So if it's a repeat of Double Impact.. I may not buy..

Downloaded the demo on 360...it might just be me, but god, the visual settings really don't look good. Scanlines look awful.

I didn't know this was out today. I'll give the demo a look but I own these games already on various formats so I don't think I'll be buying at 1200 points.
