Totally Un-Official Xmas Recomendations Thread

Why it's not official, I don't know. Meh. Anyways...

This thread is for people to recomend games to others for Xmas. Maybe there are some gems out already, or coming out, that people may have or will overlook.

It's also to help me, and others who don't have a clue what to ask for this Xmas from the missus, mum and dad, family etc.

I love The Simpsons, and I was thinking about asking for that new Hit and Run game. Looks quite funny, with quotes from the shows and everything. What do you think? Yay or nay?

The other games I was thinking about, were Rainbow 6 on the xbox (PAL) and 1080 Snowboarding on the Cube. If it is indeed out before Xmas? What do you think to these two? There's a bit of variation there.

I know i've missed lots of others. That's where you guys come in.

I would recomend some games, but i'm a little out of date with the releases and stuff.

So, have you got any recomendations for Gamecube, Xbox, PS2 and the GBA?

Spontaneously (and since this is unofficial), I'd say JP GC Killer7. Lik Sang lists it as a November release.

That and Viewtiful Joe (perhaps you already have that) are the titles I'd find nice being able to play during "the holidays".

Topspin tennis. Great online but excellent offline with plenty to do. Play in the minor cups, get sponsored by brand names and work your way up the rankings. It is probably the best tennnis game you could buy.

Is this going to happen? I didn't think Killer 7 was out until Jan 04. Well I have just pre-orded so I guess we will have to wait and see.

I would recommend Topspin tennis, this seems to get better the more time which I spend with it, although I've still to win a match on xbox live
