Killzone Mercenary (Guerilla Games Vita)

They showed a little bit of game footage, looked like Killzone (ps2 esque) with money for Kills type gameplay, sees you playing a Merc for hire and for every Helgast kill you get cash.
Looked quite nice, Sony have shown some nice Vita stuff so far.

This looks class. Certainly better than CoD on Vita but you can guess which will sell better.

That the Vita still doesn't have a top tier FPS is shocking (no, Resistance doesn't count). Trailer shows very little in game and even then just touch screen nonsense. Hopefully this delivers

Looks excellent. I'm a big fan of the killzone games on PS3, hope this turns out to be an FPS of the quality the system deserves.

I'm sure I read a link saying there was a magazine article stating that it's a solid 30fps. Could be wrong obviously, but it's an indication of the frame rate.

I do like what I see in the gameplay but I think it' difficult to judge exactly how it plays until they show a simple play through of a section without jumping all over the place like they so in these.

Quite a few places have played it now and people seem to be really positive about the game, I really enjoyed the games on the PS3 so I'm looking forward to this as people seem that it feels just like those.

The potential issue I have with the trailer is the emphasis on buying equipment and whether that means buying ingame as you are a mercenary or whether it's going to be a micro transaction driven game.

My other slight concern is the melee kills in which you have to use the touchscreen. I have no issues with using the touchscreen at all but it looks like you have to follow the onscreen arrow rather than choosing the type of attack. That was the only issue I had with Uncharted on the Vita, it just makes no sense to me.

It's quite interesting that there's a suggesting of choosing sides as you're a mercenary but I'm not sure if you're free to choose in each mission or if the game switches for you as part of the story.
