Oh yes, George Stobbart is back (with his original voice, Rolf Saxon)!

Charles Cecil (creator of Broken Sword) and Revolution are making a new, 2D Broken Sword game with the aid of Kickstarter. They are looking for $400,000 (which they'll probably get in few days), $15 gets you a digital copy of the finished game.

The industry is in a sorry state when a developer of such a high quality gaming franchise has to do a kickstarter to make a new game.
Hope it works out for them though.

I know you can but it's hardly the same...no auto updates, not properly in your list etc.

I know it seems daft, but I only like PC games on steam! I probably will back it since they said they'll try and sort steam out, and at a guess since the others are on I can't imagine steam would deny it.

I still haven't played the 3rd one, was it any good? I've got it on steam just haven't got around to it yet. Replaying the first on my iPad at the minute

The project has now gathered the goal of $400,000 with 16 days still on the clock. Took a little longer than I anticipated but the main thing is the game gets made. Could easily go up few hundred thousand when they announce their stretch goals...

If you haven't backed, go do it now. They're adding an Android version as bonus for all who pledge $25+.
