Bought an Xbox yesterday with an S controller, 20 demos and the piece de reistance, it has a samsung drive, and all for ?79. Getting it chipped later this week for ?45 including postage both ways, so for ?125 i've got a NES, SMS, GBA, PSX, MD, SNES, PC Engine, VCS, Coleco, arcade machine, multi region dvd, divx player, oh and I can play Xbox games.

And best of all, if I get short, I can sell it to some poor sap on Ebay for ?180.

Local market stall that sells games, pokemon dvds etc. Bought a US Xbox from him once that he'd plugged into the mains for ?20, sold it for spares or repair ?60. He sells 2nd hand cubes for about ?40, PS2 ?89 and Xbox ?79.

although the graphics are superb im not sure if iam fully enjoying it to how i should be. it was either a xbox or gamecube to buy. not sure if i made the right decision. i can still return it for a gamecube if i like as the 10 day return isnt up yet.

what is their on xbox to keep me interested?
The generation's console wars have dragged prices down to a really low level. There are some great games on both consoles, so by both.
