Great hand drawn video game covers.

Was all the rage in the 80's and 90's, well the 8 and 16 bit eras really. Basically, because they didn't have the help of the super computers of today rendering their works.

What are some of your favourites? Show me some recent hand drawn greats too, and not a traced render.

I found what GTA V's cover may look look life if we didn't have super computers... mind you, I think GTA are always good for their covers.

Roger Dean's stuff for Psygnosis was awesome. Could a sell a game all on its own I reckon.

No, the Awesome cover was by John Harris.

Believe it or not, the Brataccas cover was later reused for a Uriah Heep compilation.

So did Psygnosis go on to copy the style of Roger Dean's style. He designed the Psygnosis owl logo y'know?

I remember being drawn to this cover when ever I went into a games shop as a little 'un. The game looked wack though!

Nice to see the soon to be released WRC 3 game to feature some nicely drawn art. Where it will be featured, I don't know, but these pencil crayon style images seem to pop up every now and again...
