One of the the few games that will probably, if done right, really benefit from the upgrade to performance. From a retail POV not the bets name they could have chosen, makes it sound like the most minor of improvements. Assuming it means they were working on this rather than the previously rumoured EDF5

I'm pretty sure I could be playing 2025 on 360 until the PlayStation 5 comes out!
I logged on last night after a week's holiday and I'm up to over 200 hours and I'm still only at about 24% completion! :O
Although a new PS4 game would've been nice, I'm hoping this will make a good stepping stone for Sandlot ready for EDF5.
They can get used to seeing how much it can handle before slowdown kicks in.
People forget that a lot of levels are chock-full of hundreds of enemies and take place in cities the size of GTAV, but are completely destructible. There's a lot of carnage in this game to keep track of!
I'm still excited at the prospect of the EDF2 remake on the Vita as there's some great levels and bosses in that.
EDF 2025 is easily one of the best games I've played and it makes me a little sad how few of you guys even tried it, let alone persevered with it.
Hopefully the lack of games on the new systems will encourage players to put a bit more time into it!
Here's the trailer, but there's no new footage in it.

PS Vita has EDF 2017 Portable for about ?25.
PS3 has EDF 2025 for about ?18.
I'm not sure how busy the PS3 rooms are for 2025, but I think they're quieter than 360.
2017 Portable is probably your best bet for a quick blast and get a taste for the series, but I've found 2025 to be so much more rewarding. 2017 you aim for Lysander Z sniper rifle and ZEXR gun turrets and you're sorted, but in 2025, the weapon and armour limits, different classes and larger variety of weapons and vehicles means it's a much more tactical game than its B-movie feel imply.
