Mass Effect Trilogy [Nov 6th 2012]

    Count it.
Mass Effects Triple drops on 06/11/12 for Xbox 360/ PC and PS3.
Interestingly it cites the PS3 version will come "later". I wouldn't be suprised if there's still some wrangling to be had about the MS exclusivity on Mass Effect. Also there's no mention about whether any DLC will be included with all three games.

Good for those who have yet to pick up the series.
Not so good a deal for those who've been there from the start.

Any idea if this trilogy will include ALL the additional DLC stuff? Or are they saving that for an ULTIMATE version of the games, that will inevitably come out the following year... It will be nice to see what ME 1 looks like on the PS3.

      Yeah ME is hitting PS3.
Does this mean EA bought the rights from MS, or the rights were only for a specific period which has now expired.

The Mass Effect Trilogy will be available on the Xbox 360? videogame and entertainment system and PC on November 6, and will be available at a later date for the PlayStation?3 computer entertainment system. Mass Effect, the game which started it all, will be available on PlayStation 3 for the first time through the Mass Effect Trilogy and digitally as a standalone title via the PlayStation Network. For more information about Mass Effect Trilogy, please visit the game's official web site at http://MassEffect.com. Hmm... if it's cheap I could be tempted by the digital PS3 ME1

Just thinking, they've missed a trick with this not being on Wii U for launch instead of ME3 Special Edition

Yeah but this way, they can sell ME3 to Wii U owners now & then next summer, sell them the Trilogy pack.

why is EA not communicating whether or not DLC will be included?

3 great games for the price of one is poor value you say? You demand more?

                    I bet it won't.

Bargain price for entry, pay extra if you want more. BAM

I've not played ME 1 or ME 3, but considering how much content ME 2 got, it made the game SO much better! Infact I would have missed so much without it! So yes I demand more Don't wanna miss out now!

It's like buying a burger without the added stuff like cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup etc... The main bit is fine, but its the additional stuff that makes it oh so much more... (Damn, I'm hungry now)

yes, because it's not about the price. a collection should include all the extras for convenience and fan service.

if you look for bargains you can get all 3 games for half the price by the way.

Rofl, over 74 WHOLE HOURS across 3 games is a positive selling point? I remember the days when it was 100 hours across 1 game.

Bloody slackers, pull thy fingers out!

Edit: And it's not a missed trick for the Wii-U. You'd get inferior versions of each game just because the guys responsible for porting 3 can't be arsed doing it properly.

Wow the 360 version have no DLC at all :/

I'm guessing the PS3 version would have the same as the PC...

Confused by all the righteousness and noise in this short thread already. Simple question: For a ps3, is this trilogy 'complete' with all the add ons?
