Looks utter rubbish and like something Crystal Dynamics would have made on the3DO in the early 90's . Still it could well turn out to be rather good, I guess

They look like the bastard love-children of Gex the Gecko and Spyro the Dragon.

I love Banjo Kazoo / Tooie but ex-Rare staffers are nothing to get excited about in 2015. I'd rather see a Retro Studios or EAD Tokyo reboot of DK64.

Came in to say this looked like PS1 era design and Crystal Dynamics and Gex and Spyro but you all started without me.

Has anyone else noticed this looks like Gex or Spyro?

              Could be worse.

Gex and Spyro tag team completely derivative of Banjo Kazooie. I am surprised it is this blatant.

It would be like making Teenage Alien Karate Armadillos.

Wow, that name! So one's yooka, one's laylee, only together they're 'ukelele'! Get it?! Also looks like they ran those art designs through the 'gener-o-tron', settings locked at 1998.

At least it has colour and doesn't feature marines with guns. Or space marines with guns.

Good luck to them. At least they will have a better chance of actually working on a game being indie instead of useless avatars for your live account .

I'll say there's more colour in Sunset Overdrive and no space marines either . Seems when you leave RARE it never works and I doubt it be any different for this team

Awesome. Loved Banjo, Tooie and DK so more of the same will do just nicely.

I don't care how generic this looks - the bat thing does look like Stitch - we need more games like this. The adventure platform game has pretty much died and it's pretty much the only type of 3d platform game I like. As charming as 3D mario was, it just left me cold and bored. We need big areas to explore, rotatable cameras, and stuff to collect goddamnit!

You're living in 2003, man. Quit living in the past.

I do miss these kinds of games, I've been watching A Hat in Time for ages. Even with the rise of indies, proper 3D platformers are effectively dead except for the once every X years Mario entry.

Purely by being hard to come by I'm fine if this is just a reskinned Banjo entry. If Rare won't make one then I'm happy for ex-staffers to try. The key will be to keep the quality up but not take too long getting it released. Feels like most ex-Rare studios take so long they fold before putting stuff out, make this decent and use the money to bank roll your ideas into any sequel.

I'd be happy if their next game was Blastcorps inspired
