In Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable for PS Vita, the core of the game (the 3D arcade action and the system features) remain the same as in EDF2017, but by adding many additional features the game feels completely transformed and remastered. These additions include an online co-op mode, new missions, enemies and weapons, and a new playable character in Pale Wing.

Great news! Almost makes me want to get a PS Vita. Wish they'd bring these updates to the 360 version.

I said to you about it when you asked for ideas for 360 thread ikobo, but you said you weren't buying any download only games, then bought Shadow Complex, its a great game, not sure how much now, 15 or 20 ikobo?

Has anyone tried this? Is it worth a purchase? I wonder if the 4 player coop works well? Also, is there any type of voice comms on Vita?

Ive got it, the 4 player co-op works fantastic, no lag , but it shouldn't, Vita should be able to run this with its eyes shut. Have you played EDF 2017 on 360 Capcom?. As i said in the PSN thread, yes its a bit expensive for 35 quid, but im going to completely rinse this , on easy,normal,hard,hardest, and inferno, something i just found too difficult on SP on 360. Its a faithful port with even some of the little quirks still in it. Havent tried voice chat as non of my PSN friends have it.
