The RROD has been a constant concern with it killing off multiple systems for me, my fourth and definitely final 360 is a slim which touch wood has been fine so far so hopefully Ill be fine until I sell it next summer

        1, pro launch unit.
Ass Creed launch, DVD drive chewed up like a son of bitch when I put that game in. Never before have I heard a console make a worse noise, DVD drive was dead after.

Got a second hand US pro off here and it RROD but was under warranty, so the UK MS guys repaired it for free, so I've stated it's now my 2nd one in the poll. I then modified all the internals to flow better and it hasn't skipped a beat since.

Still on my first unit, bought it new at Xmas 2008 and no problems as of yet!

Launch unit RROD'd after about 2 years, the replacement lasted 2 weeks....thankfully since then I've had no problems with the 3rd machine

Launch Core. Replaced twice until MS realised it was a software issue.

When that died I got an Arcade which lasted a year. Swapped for another Arcade.

2x Slim 250Gb have been groovy when used.

                So 5.

Bought an arcade unit from a member on here in 2009. Lasted 18 months until death so replaced it with a 120gb jasper unit. If that fails, it will be bye bye Xbox I think. Fingers crossed it will last a while yet though.

Jasper unit, well-used since May 2009, never RRODed. Must have a lucky one.

Are the Jasper consoles also prone?

Somewhat, apparently. Mine is a Jasper (bought Jan 2009) and still working fine though.

I'm on my third PAL and second NTSCJ at home. On my desk at work I have two dead PAL units that I acquired as RRODs that I fixed and then they died again. So 7.

                          Jesus.

I have a Japanese Jasper, but rarely use it. Still on my first console, however.

Had my white 20gb one RROD on me, then replaced it with the black arcade which is still working I think.
