Xbox World and PSM3 magazines to close

Very sad new that the above 2 mags are due to close, with last issues coming in November.

Pretty sad state of affairs for gaming magazines what with Ngamer going a couple of months ago. I really like both of these mags, i actually prefer PSM3 to the official PS3 mag.

I am amazed any of them are still going...dont even see people reading them in shops anymore!

Edge must be in minus subscriptions by the amount of cancellations that have happened over the years.

I love reading game mags but i now only download and read on ipad, pretty much get them half price this way. Though i do wonder how much longer printed game mags can go on for they are ridiculously over priced now, there is no way they should be costing ?5 each.

I bought EDGE from issue 1, but it got to the point a couple of years ago, where it was so depressing... that I had to have mercy on myself and stopped buying it.

All gamers need is a magazine like Retro Gamer, but focused on modern gaming instead.

Such a shame used to buy PSM2 when younger. PSM3 Podcast was amazing so sad. I hope they can become the Brtisih Giant Bomb.

Must admit I haven't bought PSM3 in years, but thought it was a fantastic mag back in the PSM2 days and bought it monthly.

Their DVD review commentaries were ace, and the actual written reviews were fantastic too. Really grounded without being too dry or lacking any apparent enthusiasm for videogames. Cough....................Edge.

I actually took out a subscription to Edge just recently. I look forwards to cancelling it.
