I would pick up MK8 and 3D World, then register your MK8 to get a free copy of Windwaker. I wouldn't try and play 3D World and DK at the same time as the weighting of the characters and the way that they play is so different. Switching back and forth between them would probably be a pain.
That's a superb trio of games to play through right thurr
You register the game on Club Nintendo. Inside every game is a red slip with a silver bit to scratch off and a code underneath. Go to Club Nintendo, sign up and register your code. You earn points (or 'Stars') for every game or system you register, which you can use to get freebies like soundtrack CDs, figurines, and errr pyjamas.
Once you've signed up to Club Nintendo, go to the system settings on Wii U and link your system to your Club Nintendo account. You'll then earn an additional 1000 stars for buying a Wii U. You get 250 per game usually.
The free game with MK8 doesn't cost you any stars, you just need to register it on CN. Get it done by the end of July though, as that's the deadline! You can choose New Super Mario Bros U, Pikmin 3, Windwaker, Nintendoland, Game & Wario, or one of a few others.
