Mario Kart maybe ... No way Smash Bros will be, they haven't even started working on it yet. And unless Bayonetta 2 has been in the works for a couple of years already that won't be out.

I am hoping for a lot more than that come E3. In the end Nintendo are bigging themselves up, so its now to come out with the goods. I am hoping more for Pilotwings, Starfox, Fzero, WaveRace style announcements myself.

Ah that's a shame, but your right, they must be holding a lot back for E3. Gotta say enjoying my 3DS quite a bit recently - so I am holding out some hope for what Nintendo will line-up for the Wii U in the coming months...

Just remembered about the Wonderful 101 which isn't mentioned (I think that's due this year?)

Just noticed that game.co.uk are offering DD versions of retail games for WiiU. Anyone know if those are specific codes for those titles, like in japan, or just eshop money codes?

I am sure some preliminary work has been done for a while now, but it won't be seen this year, maybe 2014 at some point, even then though that's going to be pushing it. Unless they get a lot of resource behind it, which it looks like Nintendo are at least trying to do, given how many titles they are now working on.

Wonderful 101 was supposed to be a launch title (but then so was Pikmin), hopefully it wont be any later than September. E3 is for Nintendo to lose at the end of the day, but at least they seem to be providing for the hardcore Ninty fans again, and tha'ts not a bad thing as lets face that's what most (non casual) gamers buy a Nintendo console for.

I would imagine they are redeem codes for the actual software, but no real way of knowing for sure.

I have to say the prices are actually reasonable. Monster Hunter download is basically ?40, which is a tenner cheaper than Nintendo's price.

May go for that. This is where shops need to get to with DD.

Eurogamer just reported about those download codes. But the bad news seems that those are exclusively only available via "GAME". However eurogamer's article doesn't seem to be 100% backed by GAME or NoE, concerning exclusive rights. I hope it is not true, as a consumer, because competition in this new, I say new but is already old, way of game distribution shouldn't be monopolised, says my wallet.

Just a shame Kirby Adventure is the 50hz pal version again, so I repaid Nintendo the favor by leaving lots of negative messages on the Mii boards. Fellow NTSC-UK/Borderdown members should join me in doing so.

I wouldn't think it would be a GAME exclusive for long even if it is. Wouldn't make sense for Ninty to do that. I would imagine Shopto and Amazon will get in on the act soon as well. And Next Gen machines will almost certainly be doing this, possibly at launch.

I actually ordered MH and the whole process is painless, other than download speeds from the Nintendo network are painful at best.

                      This NSMBU looks really decent.

I so wanted one of these years ago. Saw one again in a shop today and it really is pretty hideous.

Hmmm if I trade in my entire games shelf inc. My 3DS I have enough to buy a Wii-U....

If I got one , what game would I get. I have no interest in Mario or ZombieU, Lego City is maybe . What else is there right now and what are the next big games due?

Don't do it! 3DS Is really picking up and has some great games out for it already and a whole bunch coming soon. Wii U will likely drop in price in the next 12-18 months and by then the library might actually not be ****.

I'd hold out if I was you Boris. If you're at all a fan of classic NES games Nintendo Land is worth it for a few games (Balloon Fight and Donkey Kong themed ones mainly). The Luigi's Manision, Pikmin and Zelda ones I also enjoyed in multiplayer (I was actually really was surprised by how good Nintendo Land is to be honest). Other than that however I just own New Super Mario Bros. U myself, I'm looking forward to getting into it but haven't even unsealed it since it's so similar/soon after NSMBWii. The Virtual Console is whats sustaining me right now (and that really kicks off next week with Super Mario World, et al) so I'm taking this as an opportunity to try out some classics.

Between Sep/Dec is the time to get onboard with Wii U, in that window I'm expecting to pick up at least Pikmin 3, Game & Wario, Wind Waker HD, Yarn Yoshi... There's also Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101 but I've seen enough to know I 100% won't be getting those myself and haven't kept up on their progress. There's also Rayman Legends in Sept but that's on PS3/360 too and I'll get it on 360 because I'd prefer it without the Wii U screen stuff to be honest. I think most Wii U owners are just waiting for E3 and then with all the great games in the last quarter of this year and E3 reveals for next year it's all going to kick off Wii U-wise (the recent 3DS Nintendo Direct announcements were probably just to ensure those titles don't get lost at E3 amid the Wii U announcements, which are bound to be Nintendo's focus with the PS4/Xbox 3 showing there.
