Which Controller Is Better: 360 or PS3?

Disagree... I like my controllers to have weight, I hated the sixaxis for this, I couldn't stand to play my PS3 until I got a DS3.

Never had that issue..

Totally disagree with all of this.. Personally love the sticks and feel the PS3's are far too slack, makes it feel horrible aiming in any sort of aiming game (Killzone, Uncharted etc). I can use them but far and away worse than the 360's sticks for me. Love the triggers too, never had an issue, way better than the PS3's awful monstrosities anyway... (My geotek real triggers sort of solve that but they're still not as nice feeling, a bit spongey).

Totally agree. They're ****. The DS3's R1/L1 are much better.

Exactly. What does this thread hope to achieve?
The next Xbox controller will be slight iteration of the current one as will the PS one.
I think the only issue is if you prefer one system but the other's controller.

I guess it's like everything else, people love to throw their opinions around

I dislike everything about the Dual Shock 3 - its shape and weight, its face buttons, triggers, the feel and tension of the analogues, and, d-pad aside, prefer the 360 pad in every way. But that's just me. At the end of the day the best controller is whichever one feels most comfortable with.

I do not own an XBOX360 but every time I use its controller I'm surprised how comfortable it is. The PS3 controller might have a better d-pad but the 360 controller is much more comfortable and ergonomic. But does it really matter? Both function very well.
